Stability and performance
Crash patterns, startup time, memory and the places where the interface blocks.
Store compliance
Whether the app meets the current App Store and Google Play requirements, including the 2026 SDK and target level rules.
Walkthrough call
One hour to go through the findings with your team and answer questions.
The five days
Day 1
Access, build on a clean machine, first pass over the repository and the store listings.
Days 2 and 3
Architecture, dependencies, data and networking, security basics, crash and performance data.
Day 4
Store requirements, release pipeline, and the fixes that are worth doing first.
Day 5
Writing the report, then the walkthrough call.
What I need from you
Source access
Read access to the repository and to any build configuration.
Store access
Read access to App Store Connect and the Play Console, or exports of the crash and release data.
One contact
Someone who can answer questions about the product during the week.
Questions I get asked
- What if the app is small?
- The price is the same, and the week ends earlier for you: a smaller app means a deeper look at what is there rather than a rushed overview.
- Do you fix what you find?
- Not during the health check, so the report stays honest. Fixes are a separate piece of work, with your team or with me.
- Do I have to sign an NDA first?
- Yes, if you want one. I work under NDA on most projects and I can sign yours before you send any access.
- What if we only want part of it?
- Then it is not a health check. Tell me what you need on the call and I will quote that instead.
