Day 1
Access, build on a clean machine, first pass over the repository and the store listings.
Days 2 and 3
Architecture, dependencies, data and networking, security basics, crash and performance data.
Day 4
Store requirements, release pipeline, and the fixes that are worth doing first.
Day 5
Writing the report, then the walkthrough call.

Read access to the repository and to any build configuration.

Questions I get asked
- What if the app is small?
- The price is the same, and the week ends earlier for you: a smaller app means a deeper look at what is there rather than a rushed overview.
- Do you fix what you find?
- Not during the health check, so the report stays honest. Fixes are a separate piece of work, with your team or with me.
- Do I have to sign an NDA first?
- Yes, if you want one. I work under NDA on most projects and I can sign yours before you send any access.
- What if we only want part of it?
- Then it is not a health check. Tell me what you need on the call and I will quote that instead.
- How much does a mobile app audit cost?
- A fixed price for the five days, agreed after a 20-minute call and before anything starts. No hourly billing and no overrun: if it takes longer, that is on me.
- Which technologies do you audit?
- Native iOS (Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI) and Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose), plus Kotlin Multiplatform and Flutter apps. I audit the mobile side, and the backend only where it shapes the app.
- Does it cover security?
- It covers the app side: stored data, keys and secrets, network and certificates, sign-in and sessions, and the permissions the app asks for. A formal penetration test is a different job with a different specialist.
- Do you work remotely?
- Yes, entirely. I work from Paris on CET, which overlaps the UK, the rest of Europe and the Gulf, and I have run this with teams I have never met in person.
